DJ FLEXIBLE

My name is Ron Begin, I picked my very first dj name back in about 2000. I just came up with the name DJ Flexible, I liked it so I stuck with that name. I used to dj back in 1993. For a few years I spun on cds. Then in 2004, I got into tables. I started buying vinyl from 2004 till about 2007, then I got into torq. Torq is a program that allows a dj to play files off a computer. I usually use nothing but torq now, but at anytime, I can fly right into a vinyl record. The history about my genre styles came from being a LA DJ, growing up listening to a lot of electro. So my favorite music back when buying vinyl was electro. But, then I began to have interest towards house music. Started to buy house, and left electro behind. Most of my largest genre that I carry, is house music. And I love collecting music from the past, too.

Well, I could say that my biggest inspiration in the past year is having good music, that motivates me to play harder. Another thing that has made my mixing more flawless is having a computer program called torq, that shows the wav files while I spin on time encoded vinyl. This really allows me to see the music file, and sure makes me a better dj. This is because it makes my timing better. HOD Radio is also a very big inspiration to me, due to all fans that enjoy my great tunes! And, I have been facinated with dance music since I was young, back in 1991, is when I realized I wanted to be a dj, and I finally got into it in 1993. My shows are based on just House or Techno, usually from the past, hence my dj show name is "Flash Back 2 The Past". And my shows are usually all House or Techno, in the mix. If I say it is a house show for the day, it's going to be nothing but house.
